News and General Producer for the Podcast "Bioconcientizate"
In collaboration with the Environmental Table of the Universidad de los Andes and Colombia's national water network, we create a podcast called “Bioconcientizate” it means Bio-awareness, where we invited different NGO's leaders, teachers and governmental personnel related with the management and research of biodiversity, sustainability and water. This podcast was created for the students and people interested to gain a better understanding of the challenges and opportunities in these areas. The podcast also provides practical tips and guidance on how individuals and communities can take action to promote environmental sustainability.
General Producer and Music Designer of the cutfilm "Unfading" in the Framework of the Day of Peace at Andes University.
The short film was presented in the framework of the Day of peace at the university and recounts the reality of the pandemic that we were experiencing. With the use of dance, we managed to connect several stories that reflect the situations that had arisen as a result of the virus. At the same time, we urge awareness of the virus and mental health in this situation.
I firmly believe that art is a powerful tool to raise awareness and generate positive societal changes. Collaborating with other artists allowed us to unite our voices and create a meaningful and relevant message for the current moment.
General Producer of the short documentaty “The Story of Julio Rozo, the leader behind the first reforestation park in Colombia”
I did an short documentary with the help of a classmate, in which we interviewed Julio Rozo, a very important environmental leader in Colombia. He has 15 years of experience in green business and ecosystem conservation in Asia, Europe and Latin America. He advises government entities and international cooperation such as the UN-Environment, GIZ and the European Commission. Not only that, he walked 400 km through the Amazon in a strategy to fight deforestation. He has been awarded at the beginning of 2020 with the Alexander von Humboldt Cross of Environmental Merit by the German Government.
The documentary focused on the efforts and struggles carried out by Julio Rozo to preserve and protect the environment in Colombia, and as students we can start taking actions for the climate and for the Amazon. The presentation of the documentary took place at the Bogota District Cinematheque within the framework of the final project of the Colombia class: facing global environmental change, a class in which he would end up being an assistant the following year
Cultural management in the welcome of students at Unicervantes University
As a young event producer, I had the opportunity to participate in the organization of the welcome of students of two important academic years: 2019 and 2020. It was an enriching experience, since I had the responsibility of managing the logistics of audio, video and lights in a professional auditorium with capacity for more than 300 people.
On both occasions, we managed to make a memorable welcome, with the participation of outstanding music and dance artists who kept the audience captivated throughout the event. One of the most important challenges we had to face was adapting to the needs of the public due to the covid protocols and of the artists in real time, which demanded a lot of coordination and responsiveness from the entire team.
